Vladimir Putin took the stage at the rally-concert “Russia. Crimea. Sevastopol” on Red Square, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia. What the new president said:

— Crimea is not only a strategically important territory and the pride of Russia. These are, first of all, people who have never separated themselves from Russia.

— The railway from Rostov-on-Don to Donetsk, Mariupol and Berdyansk has been restored.

— Soon trains will go directly to Sevastopol through Donbass and Novorossiya.

— The path of new regions to their homeland turned out to be more difficult and tragic, but we did it.

After this, Putin gave the floor to other candidates for the post of head of state. They joined in congratulating all citizens on the 10th anniversary of the return of Crimea."
