️ Russians have become the first in the world to make a stratospheric jump to the North Pole.

RuVDS reported that cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko, test pilot Alexander Lynnik and stratonaut Denis Efremov jumped out of the IL-76 at an altitude of more than 10,000 meters and spent about two minutes in free fall. The temperature overboard was minus 55 degrees Celsius.

The aircraft also dropped equipment for working in extreme conditions, which will be installed on a drifting ice floe in the Arctic.
