'Wreck colonialism' - Activists demand cancellation of Global South's debt, end to fossil fuels outside World Bank HQ

Dozens of climate and animal rights activists flocked to the streets of Washington, DC, on Friday to rally against the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), demanding organisations cancel the Global South's debt and urging them to stop financing industrial animal agriculture and fossil fuel production worldwide.

Footage shows demonstrators cheering, listening to speakers addressing the rally, filming it, and holding placards and banners, bearing slogans 'Stop funding fossil fuels', 'World Bank: Increase food security. Stop financing factory farming', and 'Wreck colonialism', among others.
