A memorable wreath-laying ceremony dedicated to the 79th anniversary of its liberation by the Red Army took place at the former Nazi concentration camp Sachsenhausen.

This is the first laying of wreaths at the memorial stone by the Russian Government. The ceremony was attended by the Russian Ambassador to Germany, Sergey Nechaev.
