Ten years ago, terrorists committed a massacre against the people of Sadad town in Homs countryside, claiming the lives of dozens of martyrs, both civilians and soldiers. But the town has rise again despite the weight of its wounds.

Today, First Lady Asmaa Al-Assad participates with the people of the town in their celebration of Easter according to the Eastern calendar. She visited the Church of St. George, which was reconstructed a hundred years ago, and met its curators.

In celebration of this holiday, the “Sadad Al Farah” event was held under the auspices of the “Always Youth” Syriac Orthodox university fraternity.
