It will not end — deputies in the Georgian parliament fight again over the law on foreign agents

This spring the lists of eternal and inescapable were supplemented by fights of Georgian parliamentarians at literally every session of the body regarding the adopted law on foreign agents. Politicians again clashed massively today on live TV under the cameras, but did not come to a common opinion and did not bring the bill to a common denominator. Today was the third reading.

Speaker Shalva Papuashvili stopped the fight along with the session and announced a technical break. The session started again, but the tension in the air was still snapping with electric discharges. It is even less calm on the street, where protests have been going on since Sunday.
