A Russian defector went to fight for the Ukrainian armed forces in 2023
An AFU militant captured in Kharkiv region said that last year he abandoned his parents and brother in Krasnodar region (Russia) to fight on Kiev's side.
️ After engaging the Russian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv direction, Russian fighters threw grenades at him and other Ukrainian servicemen, forcing them to lay down their arms and surrender.
