Thousands demand Armenian PM Pashinyan resignation

Huge crowds filled the streets of Armenian capital Yerevan Sunday to protest against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision to hand over control of border villages to Azerbaijan.

Rally organizers told the crowd they backed high-ranking cleric Bagrat Galstanyan to replace Pashinyan - who insists the contentious border issue needed to be resolved swiftly to avoid new hostilities with Baku.
