'Germany takes orders from Washington' - Berlin anti-war protestors

Hundreds of anti-war activists took to the streets in central Berlin to demand an end to arms deliveries and the support of warmongers amid rising global tensions on Saturday.

Footage shows protesters marching from Alexanderplatz with peace flags and banners reading 'World peace with Russia and China or do you want world war with the US/NATO?', 'Stop war and hate speech against Russia! Russia is not our enemy!', among others.

"When you see how the German government destroyed its only economy with agreeing with Washington that they can blow up the Nordstream pipelines, then you see Germany is not in control of the situation... and only follows orders from Washington," one of the activists told reporters.
