Russian Guardsmen, together with military counterintelligence officers, liquidated a cache of foreign-made weapons in the DPR

During operational activities on the outskirts of one of the settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic, Russian Guard special forces soldiers, based on information received from military counterintelligence officers, discovered a large cache of foreign weapons and ammunition.

Foreign-made grenade launchers were seized from a cache in the attic of a non-residential building: three units of M-136 Vampire, two units of M-72 made in the USA, RPG-22 and Bullspike made in Bulgaria, as well as a Swedish Sokrat. In addition, 7 kilograms of TNT, more than 20 grenades and over 200 rounds of ammunition for Western-style small arms were discovered.

The discovered arsenal could be used by Ukrainian militants to carry out sabotage and terrorist acts. The seized weapons, ammunition and explosives were destroyed with overhead charges in compliance with safety requirements...
