‘Ukrainians deceived us’: Captured Colombian mercenary reveals chaotic ‘leadership’

According to defense officials, Russian servicemen captured a Colombian near Krasnogorovka who fought for Kiev after being lured by a TikTok post invitation, despite having no combat experience.

Ex-policeman Angel Cardenas Montilla and 9 of his countrymen received only the bare basic training for a few days before being sent into battle, where he surrendered after all his compatriots had died.

"The Ukrainians deceived us, they said that we would guard a building, but it turned out that they sent us right into the line of fire," Montilla said, before expressing gratitude for his treatment by Russian captors.
