An amazing moment when two African leaders are reunited after 30 years — SPIEF 2024

The Minister of Mineral Resources of Sierra Leone, Julius Mattai, and the Chief Assistant to the Minister of Natural Resources of Guinea-Bissau, Jacinto Tamba, reuinted by chance in St. Petersburg at SPIEF.

"I studied in the Soviet Union from 1986 to 1992. Jacinto and I lived in the same dorm, on the same floor. And we met here for the first time after 30 years,” Mattai said.
