Hundreds of protesters broke through barriers erected by the police outside parliament in the capital Nairobi, with police firing live rounds and leaving “many wounded,” according to Amnesty International Kenya.
Protesters stormed the parliament building after a meeting that decided to raise taxes.
They smash and burn administrative buildings.
Protests have been going on for several days. And yesterday, Biden declared Kenya to be one of the US's main non-NATO allies.
