Pro-Iranian groups published footage of a kamikaze UAV launching in the direction of the Israeli city of Eilat. According to preliminary data, the drone was shot down by the Israeli air defense system.

Judging by the footage, militants used the Iranian Meraj-532 drone for the first time. It is equipped with a warhead weighing 50 kg and has a flight range of up to 450 kilometers. According to the manufacturer, the maximum flight altitude of the drone is 3 kilometers.

It is noteworthy that the head of the Shiite group Harakat An-Nujaba, Akram Al-Kaabi, participated in the preparations for the launch of the kamikaze UAV.
