Combat training classes for mortar crews and FPV drone operators of the Army Corps of the Eastern Military District took place on Sakhalin

At the Uspenovsky training ground, during shooting and fire control exercises, artillerymen hit a simulated enemy with fire from 120-mm mortars. According to the plan for conducting combat training classes, several training targets were established that simulated the manpower of a mock enemy.

In order to ensure high-quality training of mortar crews, quadcopter-type unmanned aerial vehicles are used to monitor target destruction. The targets were hit at a fairly large distance from 3700 meters to 4700 meters. Mortar training sessions are conducted under the guidance of experienced army corps officers.

Tactical medicine classes are mandatory for military personnel. Based on the results of the training, the military personnel of the army corps completed the assessment “good and excellent”.
