Heavy rains cause great damage in western Austria.

The municipality of St. Anton am Arlberg in Tyrol state was particularly hard hit. Parts of the city center were flooded, roads were washed away and there was also a landslide. Even cars were washed away by the waters and the basements of many houses were flooded.

Around 100 alarms were registered in Tyrol and more than 300 emergency services were deployed.
