Crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers work in conjunction with reconnaissance units of motorized rifle formations on the line of combat contact.

From receiving the target to firing the shot, the servicemen spent no more than 2 minutes, after which the reconnaissance group of the motorized rifle unit adjusted the fire to inflict maximum fire damage on the enemy. During the joint combat operations of scouts and artillerymen, about 30 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were killed.
