Ukraine plans to hold on to Russian territories in Kursk region until Putin negotiates - Zelensky

The Ukrainian president said in an interview with NBC News that control over Russian territories is an integral part of his plan for victory, which will be presented to Western partners:

We don't want the land...... We don't want to bring our Ukrainian way of life there.

▪️ Zelensky also said he could not discuss whether Ukraine planned to try to seize more Russian territory and added that the Biden administration did not know about the operation, which was kept top secret even inside Ukraine:

We didn't inform anybody. And it's not a matter of mistrust. Last year's counteroffensive largely failed because there was a lot of talk about it, giving the Russians time to prepare.
