US vs China: ‘We cannot be forced to take sides’ - Malaysia PM

Malaysia PM Anwar Ibrahim explained that while Washington is still Malaysia’s number one trading partner, his country engages with China more than ever before, despite concerns about tensions between the two superpowers.

“Our position is to find an amicable solution, not to take sides with Russia or the West,” he said in reference to resisting pressure to turn against Moscow.
