Also, the prisoner told how he went to the work and received a draft notice. The POW says that no one cares about any reasons for deferral.

‘People go to slaughter like cannon fodder. If there had been good commanders, they would have spared their soldiers. But people are just sent to death, for nothing’.

Andrei Nosov noted that there were heavy casualties among the militants and poor planning by commanders.
