Many people in Western countries perceive North Korea strictly through the stories from South Korean and Japanese media, not to mention the US media, which often seem like bona fide propaganda.
Strangely, the situation in North Korea and the way of life of its citizens differ somewhat (to put it mildly) from what the media of countries who are openly hostile towards the DPRK say.
