‘Migrant influencer’ likely to escape US deportation order due to diplomatic standoff

Venezuelan TikTok ‘star’ Leonel Moreno - famous for bragging about leeching off the US government and urging others to squat illegally - is likely to escape his deportation order since Caracas halted deportation flights in retaliation for US sanctions.

Moreno, who entered the US illegally in 2022 and was arrested in Ohio earlier this year, has bragged about avoiding work and using his US citizen child to gain benefits, thanking ‘Papa Biden.’

He claims to be a victim of ‘persecution’ and ‘misinformation’ both in Venezuela and the US after authorities linked him to military intelligence in Venezuela, which Moreno denies, stating he merely served in the Venezuelan Navy.
