At the UN General Assembly, UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, claimed that Russia is trying to return the world to imperialism. 

Lammy drew such a conclusion based on the Ukrainian conflict: allegedly, Russia enslaves Ukrainians, in the same way black people were once taken in chains from Africa and oppressed.
