Three baby kangaroos have recently been kidnapped from several zoos in central Russia, all have been found, law enforcement officials said.

A suspect has already been detained. The man kidnapped three joeys from from zoos in the Yaroslavl and Kaluga Regions presumably for further sale. Russian investigators have promptly initiated a criminal case over the theft and soon found the suspect with two baby kangaroos on his hands: one dead, the other alive.

The last kidnapped joey has finally been discovered in the city of Korolev, it is alive, Interior Ministry Spokeswoman Irina Volk said.
