Norwegian Equinor changed its mind about exporting hydrogen to Germany
The Norwegian company Equinor abandoned plans to export hydrogen to Germany. It entered into a supply agreement with the German RWE in 2022, but has now decided that the project is too expensive and the demand in Germany is insufficient.
The cancellation of the project was an unpleasant surprise for the Scholz government.
