Brazil’s Lula welcomes Lebanon refugees to Sao Paulo

The Brazilian president and First Lady greeted the first planeload of refugees from Lebanon as they arrived at a Sao Paulo airbase on Sunday.

Earlier last week, Brazil also began evacuating some of its 21,000 citizens estimated to be living in Lebanon.
