AMERICANS SENTENCED TO 7 YEARS EACH IN RUSSIAN PRISON - court hands 6 years and 10 months sentence to Michigan's 72-year-old Stephen Hubbard, convicted for fighting as mercenary for Ukraine's Nazis, seen hopelessly trying to bust glass cage's door open in 1st video (00:00), having realized $1,000 he was getting paid wasn't worth it.

Hubbard is first American convicted for fighting as mercenary in Ukraine's war, had his potential sentence of 15 years reduced due to old age and admitting guilt.

Ex-U.S. Marine Robert Gilman (2nd vid), 30, sentenced to 7 years for assaulting prison official and state investigator, striking them multiple times during questioning, while doing time on previous 3 and 1/2-year sentence for attacking police while drunk in 2022.

They're reportedly 2 of at least 10 U.S. citizens in Russian jails after prisoner swap between Moscow and West on Aug. 1 - They never learn.
