‘Evil geezer’ desecrated 7 October shrine in UK’s Brighton

Police arrested an older man who had ripped up plants at a memorial to the Israelis killed last year in the 7 October attack that sparked the war in Gaza after footage spread of a local stopping him from doing further damage.

“It doesn't matter which side of the argument you are on, this is a memorial to the children that died,” the man who stopped him told the Daily Mail. “I'm not an aggressive guy, but this man was very angry. He was saying, ‘You don't know what they've done, you don't know what they've done”.

The 58-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage.
