A new lesson in "professionalism and the highest standards of journalism" was taught to us by the American TV channel CBS. Using the example of Kamala Harris' interview on the show "60 Minutes". Hot on the heels, the Internet exploded with her answer to a question about Israel. Here is the excerpt that broke the brains of everyone who listened to it:
- It seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening (to you).
- Well, Bill... The efforts we made resulted in some movements made by Israel in the region... which were largely prompted by and resulted from many things... including our calls regarding what should happen in this region.
And then CBS, sparing the feelings of viewers, edited the final version of the interview and replaced that answer with another one, cut from another place.
- It seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening (to you).
- We will not stop pursuing what the United States needs and making our position crystal clear…
