Germany: Thousands take to the streets of Munich to demand a ceasefire in the Middle East and Ukraine
Footage shows demonstrators marching with placards saying, “No 100 billion for armaments and war!” and carrying Lebanese and Palestinian flags.
The march was reportedly organized by a local trade union, which called for the protest under the slogan “You will not prepare me for war.”
The demonstrators demanded that the money be allocated for social needs. In total, about 2,000 people took part in the demonstration.
