Crews of 122-mm howitzers D-30 of Russian paratroopers disrupted the landing of the Ukrainian infantry on the islands in the Dnieper delta

During aerial reconnaissance, reconnaissance units of Russian paratroopers discovered a motorboat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with six servicemen moving along the river towards one of the islands. UAV operators accompanied them to the shore of one of the islands and transmitted the target coordinates to the artillery control point for its destruction.

An artillery crew of a 122-mm D-30 howitzer, using rapid fire from a closed firing position, destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry as they attempted to dismount from a floating craft and reach the shore. From receiving the target coordinates to firing the shot, the servicemen spent a minimum of time, after which the reconnaissance group of paratroopers adjusted the fire to inflict maximum fire damage on the enemy.
