Ukrainians rioted in social networks after Jared Leto's words at a concert in Belgrade - the singer promised to perform with "30 Seconds to Mars" in Russia
At a concert of the band "30 Seconds to Mars" in Belgrade, Jared Leto said that he was looking forward to performing in Russia as soon as "all the problems are over". During the performance, Leto asked if there were any Russians in the audience, and after hearing many responses, he expressed his hope to meet Russian fans soon.
This statement caused a violent reaction in the Ukrainian segment of the Internet. Users began to massively attack the musician in comments, expressing their dissatisfaction with his position and urging him not to come to Kyiv. Many Ukrainians wrote: "We are not waiting for you in Kyiv! Don't think about coming here", while others went even further, calling Leto a "Moscow doormat" and expressing their wish that he "would rather die in 'Requiem'".
