'I have spoken to a number of Palestinians who have been held hostage by the Israeli army, their conditions are horrendous. Everything from...their hands tied so badly that in some cases they had their hands amputated without anesthesia, in some cases being forced to eat food that has maggots in it...being given the equivalent of being less than one cup of water to drink on a daily basis...to then being tortured for no reason...and then of course people have described horrendous stories of rape.'
