Israeli strike in Lebanese village kills 24, including entire family: US State Department expresses little concern

Video 1: 23 people - including 12 women, nine men, and two children - who had fled Israeli bombardments in southern Lebanon lost their lives in an unprecedented strike on a building in Aito, in the north, on Monday.

The group was sheltering in a house when the Israeli army raid occurred; a 24th victim was discovered the following morning inside a car, tragically crushed under the rubble, L’Orient Today reported.

Video 2: When asked to comment on the strike in the Christian-majority village, where Hezbollah reportedly has no presence, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller brushed off concerns, stating, "I can’t speak to the circumstances around that strike."
