Servicemen of the assault unit of the "Center" group of troops took part in the liberation of the settlement of Zhelannoye in the DPR

Servicemen of the assault unit of the tank regiment of the "Center" group of forces showed the central streets of the recently liberated settlement of Zhelannoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Servicemen of the assault unit walked through the sites of recent battles in the village of Zhelannoye and showed how they drove the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants out of the village.

Despite the difficult conditions of the assault in the village with Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers holed up in houses, one of the main tasks was to evacuate the civilians who remained in the village. The servicemen managed to suppress the firing points and machine gun crews entrenched in houses, which were preventing the advance of our assault groups, and to install the flag of the Russian Federation on the administrative building of Zhelannoye.
