Georgia exit poll confusion: rival sources claim opposition lead

Radio Tbilisi is reporting officials in Georgia are attempting to hold talks with the ruling Georgian Dream party to persuade them to concede defeat, with a private TV channel claiming the opposition coalition have earned a 51% lead according their exit polls.

Voting in Georgia has ended, although polling stations abroad remain open abroad. Preliminary results are expected around 23:00 local time (20:00 GMT), with final results not expected until Sunday.
