CAN HIT TARGET ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD - The Russian Defense Ministry demonstrates loading the mammoth #Yars intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into a silo launcher, showcasing the power of Moscow's nuclear deterrence.

The Yars complex uses the Glonass guidance system (Russia's alternative to GPS.) Yars can be armed with up to 10 missiles, each containing a thermonuclear warhead weighing 300 kilotons.

It can manoeuvre during flight which gives Yars an advantage against modern missile defence systems.
