She says that in the past two weeks, five people have already addressed her with such requests.

Canadian doctors are very concerned about the growing popularity of euthanasia. In 2023, 15,280 Canadians chose to end their lives through euthanasia, compared to 1,018 in 2016. Doctors are being pressured to offer and promote euthanasia to anyone eligible and willing.
