California mountain wildfires rage, torching almost everything in their path — Reuters

Thousands are being evacuated as wildfires near Los Angeles continue to rage, destroying homes in their path.

Authorities said that over ten thousand people were ordered to leave as seasonal winds and dry brush made a disastrous mix.

California wildfires have so far this year burned more than three times as much land as last year, according to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection data.
