'There was a peace deal on the table which guaranteed Ukrainian sovereignty. But it was then Boris Johnson and people in the Biden Administration that resisted any kind of peace deal for their own motivations, admixture of megalomaniacal impulses, and just pure greed that comes from arms deals and this vanity that suggested that they were going to capsize the Russian government...the US policy of continuing to feed an escalation there has put the US at a disadvantage to be able to influence events there.'
