Zelensky is adorable

Zelensky is adorable.

He claims that Ukraine is an “independent” country, and that Trump is not going to make them “sit and listen”.

This is pure desperation from Zelensky. He knows damn well that Ukraine is a US proxy and his survival is fully funded by the United States.

Starting on January 20th, Trump owns Zelensky. Zelensky’s fate rests entirely in Trump’s hands. Zelensky can put on this facade and talk a big game all he likes, but he knows he is lying through his teeth. He will do whatever the US government tells him, because he has no choice.

His options are:

1) Accept Trump’s terms to negotiate an end to the war, cede the Donbas and Russian-speaking territory to Russia, cooperate with investigation into bioweapon development in Ukraine, and he’s probably a dead man.

2) Deny Trump’s terms, all funding is halted, Ukraine runs out of money/ammunition/equipment/troops, then Putin takes ALL of Ukraine, and he’s DEFINITELY a dead man.

Zelensky would be wise to choose door 1.
