Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Viktor Goremykin presents state awards to servicemen of Vostok Group of Forces who distinguished themselves during the liberation of Ugledar

The solemn event took place on the front line. The Deputy Defence Minister presented the following state awards: orders of Courage, medals 'For Valour', Medals 'For Bravery', and St. George Cross, and honourary distinctions for assault operations.

He praised the servicemen for their high morale in carrying out their duties on the front line, congratulated them on their high decorations, and thanked them for their courage, resilience, and professionalism.

'You deserved these awards in the battles for Ugledar, you showed courage, bravery, valour, loyalty to the oath, military duty, and Russia. You are true defenders of the Fatherland, you are the pride of Russia, of the Armed Forces, of your relatives. Thank you,' Colonel General Viktor Goremykin said to the servicemen.
