▶️ Beluga whale Jessica and her calves, three-year-old Kalina and six-month-old Deya, are housed all together in a special tank at the Primorsky Oceanarium in Russia's Far East.

Kalina is a show-whale, performing tricks for spectators for the last year. As baby Deya grows over the next few months, her diet will be switched to fish, and in about a year she will also start training to perform like her sister.

The birth of beluga calves in the artificial conditions of oceanariums is a rare phenomenon. A total of three cases have been recorded in Russia, the first two of which took place at the Primorsky Oceanarium.
