Belousov (Russian Defense Minister) claimed active expansion of military cooperation between Russia and North Korea during his visit to DPRK

The head of the Russian Defense Ministry called the treaty with DPRK on comprehensive strategic partnership the most important result of the meeting between Putin and Kim Jong-un.

️ He noted that the document is designed to stabilize the situation in Northeast Asia and reduce the risk of a relapse of war on the peninsula, including the use of nuclear weapons.

Russia and the DPRK are good neighbors and long-time friends, Belousov added.

️ Russia-DPRK Strategic Partnership Treaty was signed in June, it envisages assistance in case of an attack on one of the participating countries.
