Former Malaysian PM says Russia's MH17 crash accusations are politicized

Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said in an interview with RT that the accusations against Russia in the case of the downing of flight MH17 in 2014 have political overtones.

According to him, the West initially decided to place the blame on Moscow, which manifested itself in not allowing access to the investigation:

" For political reasons, they are, of course, trying to put the blame on Russia, but it was not Russia," Mohamad stressed.
