21 officers injured in overnight riots in Georgia

Violent protests by pro-EU crowds in Tbilisi have led to clashes with police, leaving several officers with serious injuries, including to their faces, heads, and bodies.

Two rioters are under investigation: one for setting fire to the parliament building and the other for injuring a police officer with fireworks.

In total, 224 people have been arrested over the past four days of unrest.
