SOUTH #KOREA PLUNGES INTO POLICE STATE following pro-West president #Yoon declaring martial law, as columns of militarily vehicles (1st footage, left) patrol street of Seoul to crack down on protesters government accuses of being North Korea backed COUP.

Both Seoul's ruling party and opposition have condemned Yoon's declaration, vowing to block it in parliament.
