Abkhazia will not receive 1.8 billion rubles from Russia due to the complete suspension of co-financing

Acting Minister of Finance Delba said that the Russian Federation will not transfer funds to the republic for defense capabilities, law enforcement activities and the purchase of medicines.

“And, of course, financial support for budget investments, such as the investment program and support for business entities, has been completely suspended,” said the minister.

Delba added that the government needs to replace this money.

On Tuesday, the Abkhazian parliament opposed the ratification of the investment agreement with Russia. This issue led to mass protests in the republic.
