• [The UK] is involved [in the Ukraine conflict], because Britain has sent quite a lot of officers, soldiers and military specialists to Ukraine. The Storm Shadow strikes are not possible without participation of British militaries. Britain is fighting a proxy war against Russia.

• [The reports that Russia is trying to conduct so-called grey war operations against Britain] are pure fantasy.

• Ukraine should stay non-nuclear and out of NATO. It should be neutral in accordance with its constitution. As for other arrangements, guarantees and whatever else, we are ready to consider any constructive proposal.

• We could have ended [the conflict] in negotiations in April 2022 if [former British Prime Minister] Boris Johnson had not come and said to the Ukrainians: "Let's get out of this agreement, throw it away and you should fight".
