The Mi-8PSG of the Aerospace Forces daily accompany the crews of army aviation on Ka-52, Mi-28, and Mi-35 helicopters performing combat missions in the border areas of the Kursk region.

In the event of an emergency, search and rescue team service members promptly arrive to provide assistance and, if necessary, transport the crew to their permanent deployment point. The search and rescue team includes a fire support team and a medical unit service member.
